So tell me, how did you get into the industry?
Lux: When I was about 22 a friend told me about a site called ebanned, which was like the ebay of all things kink. I created a profile and sold everything from used condoms to worn panties and everything in between. I do not know if the site is still up, I’m sure that it is. I did well, mostly selling used sex toys and condoms.From there it escalated to other sites, camming, modeling, etc.
JJ: Well that's an interesting way to have gotten into the industry. Ebanned had a good day when you found it.
What's the best thing about the industry?
Lux: Oh where to begin?! Well, I’m not now, have never been and never will be a “9-5” type of girl, so the schedule definitely helps. Then there’s the artistic freedom, meeting non -judgmental, like- minded people. Orgasms and money are nice too! Plus who doesn’t like to travel? It’s exciting, there’s a rush that you get on set; it’d be a lie if I said that I didn’t love the attention also.
JJ: When you put it like that it becomes clear it is a truly awesome and fun job haha.
And what's the worst thing about the industry?
Lux: This is where it gets complicated because there are just as many downfalls to the industry as there are perks. First the judgment, as open as I am sexually and when I was younger I was rather promiscuous; it doesn’t define me. How I am on screen and in my personal relationships are totally different. I enjoy them both but they are not the same. There’s this crazy idea that sex is love and love is sex. I believe in sex for pleasure and I believe in sex that’s pleasurable with someone that you’re in love with…also, if I’m not in love it doesn’t mean that I’m not going to seek pleasure! That is just ridiculous. There’s the effect on relationships too and I’ve lost not only the love but also the respect of the man who meant more to me than anyone ever will. That hurts, it hurts so fucking bad but as they say, “the show must go on.”
JJ: Wow, well hopefully he'll read this one day and see how open you are and see how much of an impact he had on you. But your perspective is one that many people share.
What's the funniest thing to happen to you whilst working?
Lux: This question is a loaded gun… I mean, you’re fucking and blowing strangers (for the most part, everyone is a stranger the first time). Then there are people all around you, whether they’re holding a camera or directing you, there are lines to remember… The entire situation is kinda funny and awkward to be honest! There are always a lot of laughs (which is great, you need to be comfortable). Luckily no one has puked or shit on me (yet), haha I can only hope that I’m joking here. Can we knock on wood?
JJ: You can see my wood from over there?? My apologies haha. However feel free to knock it if you must haha.
What are you doing now work wise?
Lux: These days I can be seen doing fetish porn, promoting myself shamelessly and I’m working on setting myself up to perform private skype sessions for my fans. I’m also an artist; I collect and deal antiques, design, create and modify clothing, jewellery and home décor. Because of my love for nature, oddities and things that creep me out mostly everything that I make is made from things I find in the woods, in the trash or road kill…it’s pretty weird, I love it.

Lux: Umm…? Haha, well there are orgasms! I love intimacy and passion, closeness to someone, the smell (pheromones!), the thrill! And what really turns you on?
Lux: I love a man who exudes confidence, not arrogance. Intellect, I will fuck someone I find attractive but then I’m ghost; unless I can have a conversation with them, then I’m theirs. I’m a huge fan of musicals and when I feel down I watch Legally Blonde the musical on Broadway, on repeat, whilst very loudly and obnoxiously singing every single characters part.
JJ: Now you singing along to Legally Blonde is something I have to witness. It's my new ambition in life haha.
What's your favourite holiday destination?
Lux: Wherever it is I don’t think I’ve been there yet! I am a fan of Florida because it’s so warm. I would have to say it’s somewhere tropical.
JJ: Well the world is a very big place. maybe you should give England a look? I hear there are some nice guys over there haha.
Tell me one thing about yourself that I wouldn't know just by looking at you?
Lux: Now I’m handing you the loaded gun. I get overwhelmed easily and I also have anxiety, so if I’m not super outgoing on social media or if I don’t respond to a message right away; I may just be having a “moment”! I love and appreciate everyone who supports me, I live for them. Sometimes I need to just hide and breathe though, I’m not a bitch! I appear abrasive on the outside but it’s only to protect myself. Sometimes people get angry, like they think that I think I’m above them or something, I’m not like that. When things get to be too heavy for me I tend to hide or run away.
JJ: I think quite a few people I interview get like that to be honest I find it quite endearing. Although I'm sure people reading this can see what a lovely person you are really.
What's been your biggest achievement in life or work so far?
Lux: I haven’t made it yet but when I do you’ll know! I feel like I’m destined for something more, we’ll see.
JJ: I'll be following your career closely to see what great things you achieve.
What's been the most challenging thing you've had to overcome?
Lux: Learning to love myself and be comfortable alone. I used to be very co-dependent, I still enjoy partnership but I don’t “need” it. I hope to find a lover, best friend, all of that jazz…but if I don’t; I’m cool with that too.
JJ: That's a big win for you to have that realisation and be able to accept it. I'm impressed greatly.
What's the best thing a fan has ever done for you?
Lux: I have a fan who’s been around since I went by “Leah Peach”, which I retired from 4 years ago? We text, he knows my real name, I can talk to him, he’s helped me financially, bought me gifts and things, but it’s the friendship and still adoring me when I’m a mess and not sexy that makes him so wonderful.
JJ: Everyone should have someone like that in their life. We all need someone who we know will always be supportive of us.
Whats one bit of advice for anyone wanting to get into the adult industry?
Lux: Do your research and only get involved because its something you want to do, NOT for the money (you will be miserable and will not last long). Most importantly FUCK what anyone has to say about you, just be the best person you know how to be. You can be the sweetest, juiciest peach and there are still going to be people that hate peaches.
JJ: That's a great point and a brilliant way to look at the industry.
What do you think you'll do once you leave the industry?
Lux: I’ll keep designing; keep collecting antiques and oddities, making things. Maybe I’ll write a novel, who knows? I’d like to travel, I live my life by “just wing it”, so I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
JJ: I live my life the same way. I fly by the seat of my pants every single day. I go with "what will be will be"
And finally, what's the weirdest rumour you've heard about yourself?
Lux: Hahaha, I can do better than a rumor! There was a video going around my hometown of a much younger me getting gangbanged! No one seemed to notice that the girl in the video had different tattoos than I, they assumed that it was me simply based on the word of who started the rumor and that I have tattoos in the same spots! It died off once I pointed out those were not my tattoos. People can be such fucking idiots. All of the other rumors (and there are so many) are stupid and typical. I don’t pay attention to them anymore, if there’s anything Miley Cyrus has taught us it’s that no publicity is bad publicity!
